The mission of Research Triangle High School is to increase access to globally competitive Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) education for students and teachers across North Carolina, by incubating, proving, and scaling innovative models of teaching and learning. Our vision is to graduate young people who are prepared for college-level studies, and who have learned the 21st-century skills that Research Triangle Park-like companies seek.
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a team-oriented fine arts electives educator to join our talented team. The ideal applicant has a strong fine arts background, experience in a varied number of art mediums and techniques, experience in graphic and production design, teaching experience at the secondary or college level, experience in and commitment to the effective use of technology in teaching and learning, and a philosophy that is aligned with the mission of our school. The RTHS Arts Department values inquiry-based learning and a collaborative work style. Applicants will need to apply our personalized learning model to help students become critical thinkers and independent learners.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in a related content area. Seeking candidates with a strong background in artistic expression. NC teaching licensure is not required but is an asset.
