School Description
Located in the beautiful rolling foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Mount Airy, NC,  Millennium Charter Academy is an independent, K-12 public charter school dedicated to and grounded in the classical tradition of education. Now in our third decade, MCA serves approximately 640 students across Surry and surrounding NC counties, including Stokes and Forsyth, with recent legislation allowing us to welcome students from surrounding Virginia counties as well. We have a dedicated team of over 75 faculty and staff.

Though organized into two distinct divisions (Lower School, K–5, and Upper School, 6–12), we operate as one cohesive school community under one roof and one educational philosophy. Driven by growth and five successful campus expansions, MCA is currently enhancing its athletic fields and fine arts program as we build toward a full capacity of 1,000 students.
