Exceptional Children (EC) Teaching Assistant
Full-Time Position

Endeavor Charter School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Exceptional Children (EC) Teaching Assistant to support the academic and developmental needs of students with exceptionalities. The EC Teaching Assistant will work collaboratively with general education and EC teachers to provide instructional and behavioral support within and beyond the general education classroom, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for elementary students.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Collaborating with classroom and EC teachers to implement instructional and behavioral strategies
  
  
• Supporting students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning objectives
  
  
• Supervising students to ensure safety and appropriate behavior
  
  
• Assisting in maintaining an organized, clean, and engaging classroom environment
  
  
• Participating in classroom, grade-level, and school-wide events
  
  
• Performing additional duties as assigned, including carpool support

• Solid understanding of elementary literacy and mathematics concepts
  
  
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
  
  
• Clear and effective oral and written communication
  
  
• Positive interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a collaborative team
  
  
• Basic classroom management strategies
  

Preferred Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in elementary education, particularly in Exceptional Children programs or related fields such as occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, or behavioral support.
