Clover Garden School is a dynamic, tuition-free K-12 public charter school located in Burlington, North Carolina. Established in 2001, we serve a diverse community of over 960 students from Alamance, Caswell, Guilford, Randolph, Rockingham, Orange, and Wake counties. Position Summary
Clover Garden School is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and innovative Elementary School Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide engaging instruction aligned with state standards, support the individual needs of students, and contribute positively to our school community.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver standards-based instruction in core elementary subjects (Math, Reading, Writing, Science, Social Studies).
- Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and growth.
- Assess student progress regularly and use data to form instruction.
- Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to ensure student success.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and school events.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for working with young learners and helping them grow academically and socially.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior teaching experience in an elementary school setting.
- Valid North Carolina teaching license (or ability to obtain).
- Familiarity with differentiated instruction and technology integration.
- Experience working in a charter school environment.
